Crappy Weather

Well, we have had some crummy weather the last couple of days. Of course, it is the middle of November and we could be getting inches of snow instead of the drizzling rain we've been getting so I better not complain.

Not much has been going on around here. Last weekend, like I told you before, I got to chillax alllll weekend. This weekend I will be relaxing again on Saturday, but on Sunday........I will be going to the Viking game!!! I finally convinced Brandon to drag me along to a game. We're leaving bright and early Sunday morning and will be back later that night.

Oh Favre, how I can't wait to see you, but I'm sorry to say that I am only there for you. My love for the Packers is still strong and it would almost be a sin for me to cheer for the Vikings, so any cheers that come out of my mouth will be for you and you only. Oh, and if you wanna meet up for drinks after the game, I'd be okay with that. ;)

It's Not Even Thanksgiving Yet!

Ughhhh. I love Christmas, but enough already. Since when does the holiday season start after Halloween instead of Thanksgiving? All of the Christmas music, decorations, etc. makes me feel like I should be Christmas shopping. In fact, I've even found myself looking online and thinking about buying gifts. As it turns out, I don't like this. I prefer doing my Christmas shopping in December. No need to spread it all out.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm so fond of the Christmas season, but I'd at least like to get Thanksgiving out of the way before I start thinking about Christmas. Tell me other people share my thoughts.

Me in Heaven

Friday night I was in bed by 11 after watching a scary movie. Saturday night I was in bed by 10 after catching up on some soap operas, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model and How I Met Your Mother. Today, I went to the Broadway Dinner Theater in the Dells and watched the Christmas show and enjoyed a delicious meal with my mom, sister, aunt and cousins. And, the Packers smoked the Cowboys. Wonderful, wonderful weekend.

Look at my baby!

I love Molly. She's oblivious to the difference between humans and dogs and thinks that the bed is hers and the couch is hers and everything else in the apartment is hers. She also thinks she's a lap dog. Trust me, 70 pounds of dead weight against you while you're trying to sleep.....not fun. But, how sweet that she wants to be curled up against me at all times. I love her.

Feeling Colorful

I want to paint. I wish I could paint the walls in my apartment some color other than white. I'm getting bored here - it needs some color or some new decor. It also needs new carpet, new furniture, curtains, new bedding, clothes, shoes....oh wait, that's me. I guess I'm getting a little carried away here. I really just want to paint the walls.

I made soup. :)

Okay, so I found an interesting recipe online yesterday. Healthified Cheesy Potato Chowder. I wanted to make it for my parents last night, but we ended up going out to eat for Lacy's birthday so I tried it out tonight. And, much to my pleasant surprise, it was pretty darn good. Yay!
